These Terrain Footprints & Objectives have been designed for play with Warhammer 40K 11th Edition and come in a set consisting of:
4x large rectangles
4x medium rectangles
4x short lines
2x long lines
2x large right-angle triangles
They are 3D printed from hard-wearing PLA plastic and, at 0.5mm thick, have been designed to be as thin as possible - this size is perfect for placing units, and terrain on top of them, with minimal intrusion. The designs and sizes are accurate to the terrain footprint templates that Games Workshop released at the beginning of 11th edition.
When designing these, we looked at what Terrain Footprints were already on the market and found most of them were thick MDF, Perspex or thick mouse pad material. These materials can be very heavy and bulky when you have 16 pieces, ranging up to A4 size, in a set. To set them apart, we innovatively designed our products to be as light and as thin as possible. making transport a breeze. They even come in a Do Not Bend envelope that you could use for easy storage.
With the release of the Warhammer Event Companion, we scoured the map layouts and identified which terrain footprints will be used as objectives, and have added 40mm and 25mm round holes to those templates - so 40mm tokens can then be used to mark what is an objective, as well as having a space for a 25mm token to mark who is in control of the objective. This pairs well with our 11th Edition Universal tokens, but any token can be used to help you keep track of things on a chaotic battlefield.
Although they are thin, our terrain footprints have ample surface area, perfect for a little poster putty to make sure your Terrain Footprints & Objectives aren't knocked about and don't travel throughout the course of a game.
