The Base Steppers, compatible with Kill Team 2024 (3rd Edition), aren't the same as any old base steppers you can find on Etsy. Our version has been upgraded to provide an easy way to measure what angle a model can move through doorways, by making the tongue of the stepper as thin as possible. It comes in at 0.4mm thick, allowing it to be slotted under placed terrain without having to move anything, allowing for greater accuracy in model measurement and placement.

Each Base size set comes with:
1x 3 inch stepper
2x 2 inch steppers
3x 1 inch steppers

Precision Makes for a Faster Game

When playing Kill Team, the distance an operative can move can win or lose you the game, and having a way to measure this precisely is key. The Crossfire Games Base Steppers provide this better than anything else on the market today. Having the tongue of the base stepper coming in at only 0.4mm thick, and with a line down the centre of the tongue, allows you to slot it under terrain, allowing you to see the angle precisely that an operative can move through a door during play because, as the core rules state, at least half your operative's base must move through the doorway when moving through doors.

As Slim as We Can Make Them

3D printed from hard-wearing PLA plastic and designed to be as thin as possible, the Base Steppers have a 0.4mm thick tongue while the final inch of the stepper is 4.5mm thick, allowing it to be easily picked up from the kill zone floor after use.

What is the Organiser for Battle Box?

Even though our Base Steppers are as thin as we could make them, transporting them can be a pain. To fix this for our customers who have purchased a Battle Box, we designed an organiser that slots into the back of the main compartment of the Battle Box and holds a full set of Base Steppers in every base's size (not including the 50mm Base Steppers).
Then, during transport, as long as you have the Essentials Box in your Battle Box, the organiser is locked in place.
